Important information about the magnets on the bag:
The EXFIL-11 tank bag has strong magnets in the mounting tabs to secure the bag to the tank. EXFIL-11 can not be attached to plastic, fiberglass, carbon fiber or aluminum tanks. Due to the magnitude of the magnets, these can affect electronic devices. Storing your mobile phone in the outer pocket minimizes its potential. Friction between the magnetic mounting flaps and the fuel tank is inevitable; Slight damage to paint and varnish can occur. Minimize this by thoroughly cleaning all mounting points before putting on the tank bag on the motorcycle. Do not place any material between the bag and the tank surface as it reduces the magnitude of the magnets. If your petrol tank has a center console, open the lower zipper before installing it to expand the bag. To remove the bag, lift it off, do not pull it off to reduce the risk of paint damage. Remove the bag when the motorcycle is parked to extend the life of the paint.
